Im scared what this guy will think of my room w/o a door-just a curtain?

My bed wouldn't fit in the bedroom in the apartment so we turned what was supposed to be the dining room into a bedroom and theres obv no door so we put up a curtain..I live with my mom and her room is on the other side of the apartment..i didnt plan on really have anyone over since I dont plan on staying here for very long but my guy friend from college is coming down to visit next week..we havent had sex yet but it would be nice to do some things wiht him. should I be embarrassed? because I am. He knows I hate the part of the city that I live in but he doesnt know I dont have a door lol
