Should i get an ipad 2 even though i have an ipod touch 4g?

Is the ipad 2 worth it because if i decide to get it i have to give my ipod to my sister and it has 32 gigs while the ipad im getting will probably get less memory cuz of high price. I was also wondering if you could type up reports and print them on a computer because i want it to be a replacement for a laptop.
